Species Diversity and Protection of Amphibians and Reptiles Zhuang in Tropical Rain Forest Area of Guangxi Autonomous Region

Abstract:The tropical rain forests in Guangxi distribute mainly in high temperature and humidity areas, north boundary line 8000℃, ≥10℃, with an average annual radiation of sunshine over 100 Kcal./cm2 and temperature over 22℃. There are 36 species of amphibian belonging to 3 orders, 9 families and 20 genera as well as 79 species of reptile to 3 orders, 13 families and 48 genera. The fauna of these animals predominantly beling to southernChinaand then permeate from Palearctic, Oriental realm, central or centrao – southern China etc. There are a total of 62 natural reserves covering 18 thousand km2, in which 11 are tropical rain forest ones covering 3.383 thousand km2 in Guangxi ranking first in China.
