Relationship Between Isolation of Anopheles stephensi Total RNA and Way of Preservation of Mosquito Sample

Abstract:The total RNA of An. Stephensi was successfully isolated with Tripure isolation reagent. The qualities of the total RNA isolated from mosquitoes preserved by different ways were compared. The results showed that the RNA isolated from fresh sample were the best. Soaking the sample in the Tripure isolation reagent at 4℃ after the sample being homogenized was better than the two other ways and if the RNA isolated from the sample preserved within 5 days by this way, the quality would be ensured.
