Spider Community in Jiugongshan Nature Reserve, Hubei Province

Abstract:68 species belonging to 15 families, 41 genera were collected in Jiugongshan Nature Reserve from July to August, 1999. The dominant spider communities were Leucauge blanda, Oxyopes sertatus and Argyodes bonadea. The diversity (H’) of spider was 3.2367, even (E) 0.7671 and dominant concentration (C) 0.0720. Four spider species i.e. Neoscona scylla, Achaearanea oxymaculata, Argyrodes cylindrogaster and Lycosa yaginumai were new records of Hubei Province.
