Abstract:28 items of physiological and biochemical indices in blood of 51 health musk deer in different ages have been assaied in three years. The determination result:The adult musk deer (>2.5 years old): serum potassium (8.39±2.70) mmol/L,serum sodium (145.95±5.28)mmol/L,chlorine(107.29±2.74) mmol/L, total protein (90.58±13.56) g/L, albumin (46.07±4.95) g/L;the young musk deer(1.5~2.5 years old):serum potassium(8.19±2.71) mmol/L,serum sodium(145.36±4.34) mmol/L,chlorine(107.55±3.96) mmol/L, total protein (76.79±6.46) g/L, albumin (48.87±2.65) g/L;the young musk deer (<1.5 years old):serum potassium (10.87±1.65) mmol/L,serum sodium (141.60±3.27) mmol/L,chlorine(105.24±4.29) mmol/L, total protein (76.29±8.24) g/L, albumin (40.99±5.14) g/L。The results revealed that the differences between the young forest musk deer (1.5~2.5 years old) and the adult (>2.5 years old) is not significant, however, there are some blood parameters are significantly different between the forest musk deer (<1.5 years old) and the other forest musk deer (>1.5 years old) . The calcium-phosphorus ratio of forest musk deer is lower than other animals. The determination of physiological and biochemical indices of forest musk deer, in order to protect the accumulation of information and disease prevention.
