Rare and in Iminent Danger Podoces biddulphi in West China

Abstract：Podoces biddulphi discovered only in Taklimakan of northwest China is a special species in China. At present, the number is estimated no more than 7000. With development of west China, the ecological environment is confronted with more pressure. Biology resource, especially rare species faces more and more great challenge. In the paper, the authors call for intense concentration on protection of Podoces biddulphi inhabited in west China.
