Abstract:Objective The most common and important factors which restrict the development of musk deer industry was abscess disease and it was a great threat. This experiment was aimed to find the main pathogenic bacteria and effective treatment measures (drug). Method Kinds of culture mediums were adopted for the 28 samples, and the Gram method staining was used for preliminary classification, then the 16S rRNA sequencing of all the pathogenic bacteria was examined, routine physiology and biochemistry assays were operated though BIOLOG Microlog System Release 4.2. KM mice were used for the pathogenic assays. The drug susceptibility of all the pathogen against 22 antibiotics was tested. Results Incubation of the abscess samples showed that the isolate rate of Arcanobacterium pyogenes was 100%, Pseudomonas aeruginosa was 21.4%, Bacillus cereus was 14.3%. 16S rRNA sequencing and pathogenic assays finally confirmed that the main pathogenic bacteria was A. pyogenes. Conclusion These results preliminary indicate that the musk deer abscess disease was firstly caused by A. pyogenes, then co-infected with other bacteria; The most effectively drugs for A. pyogenes is ciprofloxacin and simultaneously for these three pathogens are ciprofloxacin and clindamycin.
