Integration of Science Research into Activities of Animal Biology Teaching

Abstract: Integration of science research into teaching is thought to be an important way to cultivate creative spirits of undergraduate students and improve their practical abilities. It is summarized and analyzed in present paper of our explorations and practices in integrating science research into activities of animal biology teaching in the past several years. Our attempts focused on the following aspects: the unity of teaching group and science research group, the involvement of the famous professors in the teaching activities for undergraduate students, presentation of the front knowledge in animal science field to the students, reinforcement of experimental training for undergraduate students by absorbing them to professors’ research groups or encouraging them apply their own research projects, etc.
