Population Dynamics of Pycnonotus sinensis in Olympic Forest Park, Beijing

Abstract:The population size and habitat of Pycnonotus sinensis in Beijing Olympic Forest Park was recorded in 2013 using line transect survey method. The result showed that the population size of P. sinensis in summer and autumn was larger than that in winter and spring. P. sinensis would prefer the habitat in north part of Olympic Forest Park, and prefer dense forest and wetland to open forest.
