Abstract:The study showed that the time to start and to end hibemation of Eremias breuchleyi in Xuzhou was the middle ten days of December and February next year with a period of about 2 months. The E. breuchleyi living in hilly mountainous region survived the winter in porous soil caves made by themselves under the big stones. The study also showed that there were correlation between activities of hibernation and air temperature and that E. breuchleyi had hunger-resistance ability during hibernation.
